There are 4 types of bingo around the world. First type is the bingo played on a card 5x5 with center square marked as free. BINGO is the letters that sit atop the seventy five ball bingo card they correspond with all the five columns that are on bingo cards.

The players aim achieving a desired pattern in 75 ball bingo may vary from person to person; this may be from a single simple line to a more complicated themed pattern. In speed bingo the variation is that the numbers are called simply much quicker.

The second type is the 90 ball game bingo; this is usually played in the parts of Europe, South America and Austria. This is marked on a card of 9x3. Both the first and second type of Bingo is very prominent online. In the second type the cards are arranged as three in horizontal lines & nine in columns. Each line has 5 numbers; this means that each card has fifteen numbers. The numbers 1-9 are in the first column and the numbers 10 to 19 are in the second column, the third contains 20 to 29; the final one has numbers from 80 to 90.

Third type in bingo is a very quick bingo game. It is played having 30 balls; they are numbered from 1 to 30 and are appropriately called a thirty ball bingo or a speed bingo. The card for this game is of 3x3 and the games objective is the first player who plays bingo to fill her/his card, this requires every one of the nine numbers on the card to match those that are called out.

The last or the 4th type is 80 ball game of bingo, this is a hybrid of 75 ball and 90 ball bingo's rules. The cards are of 4x4, and hence contain 16 numbers. The prices awarded for this 80 ball bingo varies from others.
